Erasmus Internship Student - Liam Braham - April 2019
Beginning Monday 8th April, our Erasmus Internship Student Liam Braham has been working alongside each member of staff both in the office and also out on site. Originating from Germany, Liam will spend four weeks working for Braham Electrical.
'Erasmus students study a wide variety of subjects but most use the program for advancing their language skills with a view to working in the international sphere.' Erasmus (2019).
Liam has covered many areas within our Electrical Company and has been exposed to each level of work that makes up Braham Electrical. Having entered his second week with us, Liam spoke about his internship so far with Braham Electrical,
“I have mostly been working in the accounts department, dealing with invoices, getting to terms with the SAGE system, statements, remittances and learning how to split and file them. I have also worked on the Operation and Maintenance Manual for completed jobs. I was shown how to delete unnecessary files and documents and amend them where appropriate. I have also spoken to sub-contractors on calls regarding manufacturing data. It’s really enjoyable and I look forward to the next few weeks working with Braham Electrical.”
Liam has had a positive impact on our Company and has been eager to learn and thoroughly helpful towards everyone.
